Halloween Night!

This was our fourth year in the front yard and it was a difficult decision not to do our annual Brown Family Front Yard Bash, As much fun as they are each year, we decided I had to learn to say "no," when things  get insanely busy. Since we still had to trick or treat on a Monday night, we decided to still have some of the core group stop by for a ravishing and wholesome dinner of frozen pizza before we hit the streets.
There are actually SEVEN PEOPLE in this picture!!!!
Speaking of the streets... are neighborhood was hopping! I couldn't believe the amazing energy and amount of people bustling around. We had a great time and promise to get back to our super fun and big one next year!

Our annual stop at the Salinas!
I didn't get too many pictures of Carter this year as he was literally SPRINTING from house to house.

Oakwood Spookfest!

We couldn't imagine life not living in our neighborhood and the cool thing is, it keeps getting better and better! We have been really close to many of our neighbors immediately around us and over the last couple of years have become good friends with a dozen or so families with young children however, this year, we've had even MORE young, awesome families move in. We are excited to get to know them more and more and regular events like our annual neighborhood cul-de-sac Spookfest is the perfect opportunity to catch up.
 The annual costume contest...
 Addie as the GHOST!
A few of the other cool outfits we saw! Amelia, Carter and Caitlin.
Audrey and JP...
Field and Harper...
The pinata, games and chili cook off were a hit!

4th Annual Dominion Halloween Party!

I can't belive Addie is only 3 years old and this is her 4th year attending this super fun event! This year we were so sad not to be joined by the Metcalfs but we made the best of it eating, trick or treating, going on a hay ride, and decorating pumpkins and cookies!
Bat Man and Bat Girl were the most perfect costumes for these two! They are inseperable these days and are just what I would imagine two best friend super heros are like in real life... they always have one another's backs!

Aunt Erin even made it in town for our most favorite Dominion event all year!!!
